This is what Scotland looks like, honest.
That awkward first post…
Hi, I’m Grumhelden. I have other blogs, you may have read them, you probably haven’t. Either way your thinking “who’s this guy?”. I’m Scottish, from Glasgow, I’m full on working class and I play Games, nah, I *love* games. For my part here on Creative Twilight, I’m hoping that I can contribute more about the how’s and why’s, as opposed to the who’s and what’s of our hobby. There will be batreps, tournament reports and progress reports on the Blood Bowl Team I’m converting up, in future, god willing. For now, let me kick off with some stuff on how things are here in Scotland in gaming terms. I’m sticking to gaming terms because I don’t want to ruin that image of a kilted ginger Janitor you have in head right now.

Bloggers: Old Stuff Day is Approaching
Last year Rob at Warhammer 39,999 began Old Stuff Day. In short, it’s a day where every blogger showcases articles they’ve done over past year (or longer), that might have fallen off the radar, maybe it’s just something you’d like to bring attention to again, stuff you may have done before you gained popularity or just anything you’re exceptionally proud of.

Early last month I put up a poll asking which rumored upcoming codices you were most anxious for. On the list there’s definitely some that need the update more than others but I was more interested in which you were most anticipating. Here’s the results.
Community Pimp’n: First of 2012
I’m going to change the format of this around a bit and combine the Weekly Wrap-up into this. Really the only reason they were separate was it gave me another easy article to put up. It just makes more sense to combine things.
6th Edition Leaked?
Normally I’m not one to post rumors and breaking news but I can’t help it with this one. TastyTaste over at Blood of Kittens put this article up referencing documents you can snag (check the comments section as the top one no longer works), and the article hits the high points of the leaked rules.

With the rumors flying lately about which codices are next it only seemed fitting to see which of those you all are most anxious for. I think I have them all listed but if I missed one then let me know and I’ll add it. I try and stay on top of rumors but they do seem to change daily.
Fund Raiser: Polar Bear Plunge for a Great Cause
A fellow 40K player at the LGS is doing a fund raiser for a great cause. I wanted to pass this along and help him and the cause out.
