Thor’s Workbench: Chaos Bike (PIP #2)

Since the last shots I have shaded the bike and have the rider at the same stage, base coated and shaded. I just attached him to the bike so now I’ll move on to highlighting and getting the last details wrapped up. Just about done.

These are just quick shots so the lighting isn’t great.

I should have this done in the next few days when I find more time and then it’s only two more Bikes to go. Oh, the missing arm is because it’s magnetized and I have not worked on the arm yet.

I began playing Warhammer 40K in 2006, and have been an avid player and hobbyist since then. I have also been blogging about 40K for almost as long as I've been playing it, having started Creative Twilight in 2009.

Looking good. That’s a reasonable enough compromise on the flat area behind the seat as well. it’s what I do with the exhausts on Loyalist Marine bikes as well.

    • Thanks.

Yeah, that’s such an odd setup on the back there. Not much you can do with it.

  • It’s coming along nicely. This will be a great looking squad when it’s finished.

On a side note, have you figured out what you want to do on the back of Soulgore’s bike?

    • Thanks.

I haven’t done anything with Soulgore’s bike or made any decisions yet. I’ve found when I’m indecisive on something that it works better if I move on to other projects instead of endlessly pondering. Eventually inspiration strikes when I’m not over-thinking it.
