HeldrakeI know Rob @ Warhammer39,999 loves it when I do updates to models that have made seemingly little progress and all but here’s an update on my Heldrake :P Seriously though, I do these little updates to keep my motivation going. HeldrakeI absolutely love the Heldrake. It’s been one of my most consistently performing units game to game and I like the model as well. It has also been a model I have not been looking forward to painting because there’s a lot too it. I enjoy painting detailed and intricate models but this thing just has so much surface area that I know damn well it’s going to take me forever with what little time I’ve had lately for painting.  Read more... Chaos Biker Hobby WIP #1Chaos Biker Hobby WIP #1 With the holidays I have not managed to get a ton done lately. The other week I did paint up one Chaos Biker – shots of him some day. Otherwise it’s been modeling, and even then slowly. Here you’ll see my Biker Champion almost fully assembled, nothing special. Chaos Marines: Maulerfiend & Heldrake Experiences

MaulerfiendI have been doing a lot of experimenting with the new Chaos Marines. I’m done with struggling playing lists using what I own and I need to grow the army. To that end I’ve begun working on a list featuring Spawn and Bikers so far. I’ve been toying around with a few other units as well and have learned a few things.  Read more...
