Spectre Studio: Video BatRep Episode 2 (Video)
This is Spectre Studio 2nd BatRep. Spectre Wile takes the lead role with the Sisters of Battle. It’s a large fight consisting of 2,000 points a side which we agreed to because it showcases one of our favorite players at CrossRoad Games, Steve “Hippie” McKenna. Steve does an awesome job in building and painting his army [he regularly wins painting competitions]. Steve will be playing his Chaos Daemons and this report features one of the tables he created for the “Standish Standoff” in 2011.

Necrons vs Sisters of Battle
This Wednesday was the second week of the campaign with my Necrons, the idea was that the Xenos invaders were attempted to gain access to the imperial fortress. So, as you might guess the mission is incredibly difficult for xenos players. Three objectives are placed on the Imperials board edge, and as long as they hold more than the xenos player, they win. This allowed the imperials to just throw units at the xenos, forcing you to slow down and deal with them.

So unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that over the past two months, GW has released the new Sisters of Battle codex via White Dwarf. Now, when I heard the news that this was going to be another White Dwarf codex, I cringed, seeing as the last one (Blood Angels) was god awful. I was at least hoping they would have learned from that debacle and made the necessary changes to make this a quality codex. So let’s take an in depth look at the new rendition of the Sisters of Battle.
July’s 1,850 Tournament Results
Another long and mentally tiring game of moving plastic models around a table and rolling dice. I didn’t fair poorly but I did not win the tournament and did not win any consolation prizes either, IE: best army, best sport and…there was another one. For the day I went 2-1, getting a massacre win, a minor loss and then a major win. Here’s the quick and dirty, oh and I was playing my Ork list that I mentioned here:
