Those of you in the states know that the 18th is tax day. If you’re young, single and have virtually no assets then your taxes were done easily, probably done months ago and you got a nice return. Those of us on the other side of the coin tend to wait until the last minute because good old Uncle Sam prefers us to pay him. Something everyone in the states can look forward to when your a bit older and make decent money but certainly aren’t rich. Who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky and have enough itemized deductions to avoid it, or make that fine line of income where you fall into a smaller tax bracket. Hmm…children will offset some of the tax burden. Is having kids for the sake of income tax a good idea?
Anyway, the reason I mention taxes is because that’s been my focus the past few weeks: getting everything together, organizing, working on the returns, etc. Now that the nasty annual American jerk-off is over I can get back to getting content up here.
