Just wanted to take a quick shot of my painting station to show the progress that’s been made so far for Joe’s Marines. Contained in here we have, from back to front: 10 Veterans, 5 Devastators, 5 Command Squad, 5 Devastators, 10 Assault Squad, 10 Tactical Marines, 5 Tactical Marines with 3 more in progress…

Here are some pics of a painboy I made as a going away gift for a friend.
The last shot wasn’t 100% complete and Joe liked what he saw but wanted a few things done. I’ve done that, highlighted the bolter now (except what will be metallic), did a simple highlight on the right shoulder and highlighted under the eye lenses. Here’s the finished product.
Here’s the test model I was working on. Joe wanted mostly black with some gold trim. The bolter isn’t done yet though and I have a purity seal to put over the hole in the backpack but otherwise it’s “finished”. Joe is having me just do the black and gold while he’ll take care of…
I’ll show you how cheap and easy it is to make your own miniature foam trays for your models so you can transport them safely. I’ve been doing this for years now, and the trays have held up really well. In fact, I haven’t bought any trays since I started doing this.
Here’s a shot of the Drow Assassin I have been working on for a commission job. It’s going to be used in Dungeons and Dragons.
