This is a unit I started painting a long time ago and it’s time I get it completed, especially since I’m working on a Chaos Lord on Bike. I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock with my army as I figure out some lists, what I need to buy next and such, so I may as well at least progress the painting.
Nothing very exciting to see. The base coat is done so I have to do some touch-up and then get the wash on there.
The front is magnetized for the bolters since Chaos has the choice of replacing the Bike’s bolters or the rider’s bolt pistol. There’ some glue that built up around the left magnet (camera right), but I have some spikes that will magnetize on there when the bolters aren’t in use that should help cover it up some. It’s not ideal, that glue, but digging out magnets this small and patching things up after wasn’t something I felt like doing either.
