This week in Stealtherland
This week has been a busy one here for ol’ Stealthy. So I am going to hit the highlights.
Blood Bowl: Chaos Calling
The Tau fandex and most 40k related things have gone on hold with the birth of my second baby girl “Princess Van Stealthy Stealtherson of Reroll ye ol Reroll.” However I have been getting in some time on the XBOX with Blood Bowl!
News: Celebrating 2-Years of Blogging
This month, two days ago actually, marked the second year of me blogging. As I’ve mentioned before I began this blog for commission painting in June of 2009. In January of 2010 I started blogging about 40K and eventually phased out the commission painting.
Site News: We’re Seeking Interested Authors
I’ll be honest, I’m looking to breath some more life into this blog. We have a steady readership here and most every month sees the blog grow a little more, all good stuff. However, I know more can be done here and we just need the right authors.

We all have our preferred method for following a blog so I wanted to remind people of the various places you can find us and follow/like/whatever us. Google Friend Connect
I just found out that Google will be discontinuing Google Friend Connect for non-Blogger sites come March. Google is shutting down a handful of their services that just aren’t doing anything of note. Since this blog and Command Center are not Blogger sites that means come March I won’t be able to use the service and so I went ahead and removed it from both sites already. On the plus side it did fix the issue with the Google +1 button not rendering.
Thanksgiving: AFK for Food
I’m busy eating way too much food and planning my tryptophan induced nap to be bothered blogging today. Enjoy turkey day everyone.
Blogging Tips: What Do You Want to See?
As I’m elbow deep in writing some tips for increasing the speed of your site I’m wondering if any of you have any questions or tips you’d like to see me cover in the future?
Ads: Yes, I’ve Done it Again
Love them or hate them most of us bloggers who are paying for our blog, be it web hosting or some other financial investment regarding our site, at some point consider putting ads on our site. This is no less than the third time I’ve given this a shot. The first time only a few of you knew about the blog and so it never panned out. The second time was relatively recently and it honestly didn’t work out too badly but I was, I guess, morally annoyed by putting ads up. This time, we’ll see I guess. The big difference this time is I’m not using Google Adsense, I’m trying out Project Wonderful. I plan to do a review of the service in time as it promises to be a much better platform for a niche blog about 40K.
We Are AFK for ‘ard Boyz
Most of us at Creative Twilight will be attending ‘ard Boyz today at Crossroad Games in Maine. We’re hoping to have a collaborative report up this coming week with our results. To those also playing in ‘ard Boyz today, best of luck.
News: A Milestone and You All Rock
A lot of blogs mark milestones. Generally it’s not something I bother doing. I’m a very quiet person who is very modest with my own accomplishments, whatever they area. However, this milestone is all about the readers of this blog.

Whew. That Was a Close One
I want to thank those who visit this blog for their patronage. March was the busiest month we’ve had and lats month was just shy of the numbers of the previous. Even for this little blog the numbers were impressive. These past two months has seen a 64% increase in traffic over the average of previous months. Hell, the fact last month we only put out 19 articles and almost matched the busiest month in visits tells me that people are making Creative Twilight a routine visit and not just coming when we’re at the top of a blogroll.
Happy Easter
Yesterday myself and EvantheNoob headed down to the LGS for the monthly tournament. I’d write my report on it today but it’s Easter, so hope everyone has a great Easter and look for my report, and Evan’s, early in the week.
