I won’t bore the loyal follower with the story of how this blog began as a commission painting site and evolved into what it is today – they’ve already heard it ;)
Plus, that about covers the story too.
In June Creative Twilight turned 10. I’ve been so busy that I totally missed it and here we are in July. I don’t normally acknowledge the blog’s birthday but I figured 10 was something worth noting!
Like every hobbyist blogger out there, there have been days where I thought about hanging it all up and walking away. Not from the hobby but the blog.
It’s a lot of time and effort to reach a modicum of success in this industry; at least it has been for me. Anyone who blogs, or has blogged, will know what I’m talking about. However, I’m stubborn and persistent and likely I’ll never go anywhere.
Also, I’ve seen some tremendous growth here at Creative Twilight over the past year. I’ve been blogging less but putting in more effort in what I create and that seems to have been the trick all along. It’s the old adage of quality over quantity, but sometimes you have to learn the hard way. I learn all my lessons that way I’m afraid.
I don’t want to make this a long rambly article, so I just wanted to say thank you to those of you who read the stuff I write, as well as what the other authors here are contributing. I truly enjoy blogging and sharing my experiences with you all, and I’m glad there’s an audience for it.
So, thank you, everyone!
