Reavers (Space Wolves) Notable Characters – Fluff & Pics
I had written some fluff/background for my Space Wolves chapter, Reavers, to use at a tournament recently. Here’s the fluff I had submitted.
Miniature hobby stuff is mostly what we do here. We all love gaming, but we all spend more time building armies, and painting them, than we do playing. That’s the beauty of a game like Warhammer 40K, it’s an all-encompassing hobby from modeling, to painting an army, to playing the game.
We have a broad range of hobby articles here covering modeling, sculpting and painting. Many of us do a fair amount of conversion work for our armies. It’s always fun to personalize your miniatures, and really make them to your vision.

After a long road of working on these Obliterators they are finally painted. This was my first real attempt at object source lighting too.
My Two Tankbustas with tankhammers are complete. I had to get them done for a tournament at my FLGS this month. Here’s a few shots of them.

Here’s some shots of my first Khorne Berzerker. The goal was dark yet clean and I think I accomplished that. Check him out.
Since I wasn’t able to participate in ‘Ard Boyz today, and those who did are probably not going to post anything tonight, I thought I’d toss up a few close-ups of the Grey Hunters:
Ok, so the summer is slipping away and I’m far from finished with my army. The Bjorn conversion took a lot more time than I’d expected. The good news is that I’ve finished the modelling I need to field my list, and the paint scheme I’ve chosen lends itself well to batch painting. I have one full squad of Grey Hunters finished and a bunch more underway.
Below are some pictures of the first squad finished, 10 Grey Hunters with 2 Plasma Guns, one Mark of the Wulfen, and one Wolf Standard:

In my last post I included pictures of the pilot for my counts-as-Bjorn dreadnought, Raemos Sun-fist. This model is based on an AOBR dread but I wanted something more distinctive for something that represents a Bjorn equivalent so I decided… Read More »Counts-as Bjorn Conversion & Sculpting Project (Gallery)
