Miniature hobby stuff is mostly what we do here. We all love gaming, but we all spend more time building armies, and painting them, than we do playing. That’s the beauty of a game like Warhammer 40K, it’s an all-encompassing hobby from modeling, to painting an army, to playing the game.

I’ve finished painting my first infantry squad for my Rebel Grots army (counts-as Astra Militarum). I’ve done a lot of converting for the squad.
I set out to fully magnetize a Maulerfiend/Forgefiend so I could use it as either. It’s not hard to do, but it does require some time and quite a few magnets. However, it’s well worth the effort considering the cost of the model. Here’s a full walkthrough.

It has been a reasonably productive week, I’ve managed to paint 4 of the 10 lootas I built. I’ve gone with a lot of dingy metal and a few spots of Deffskull colors.
