Mission: Warp Flux 1.01

Minor wording changes, nothing major.

Warp Flux

Capture and control the single objective while destroying your enemy’s units.

One objective is to be placed in the center of the table. At the beginning of turn 1, 3 and 5, before movement, roll a scatter die and 3D6. The objective will be moved the direction shown 3D6 inches. If the scatter would put the objective in impassable terrain or off the table then reduce the scatter distance by the minimum required to avoid the obstacle. Once the objective location is determined, place a small blast marker in that spot and resolve any hits at S3 with AP-. Once the blast has been resolved, models must be moved the shortest distance possible to place the objective in that location. The models may not be within 2″ of the objective.

Objective capturing uses standard objective rules.

Is it possible for both players to win or am I not understanding major and minor correctly?

    • A major requires you to hold the objective, kill points are disregarded on that condition basically. Only one person can hold an objective so it’s not possible for more than one person to win a major. A minor is just having more kill points.

Is there something confusing in my wording maybe?

To me it reads like a list instead of primary and secondary victory conditions.

What I mean is say player X has the objective and 4 KPs, player C has 6 KPs. So player X has a Major Victory and player C has a Minor Victory.

        • Ah, I see. Only one condition is ever met and you start at the top and work down from massacre to draw. That’s the tournament format we use at the LGS, pretty standard massacre, major, minor, draw format, or MMMD. We use this format instead of the primary, secondary and tertiary method.

  • Sorry. All I’d do all game is say “Draw one, Play one”

    (I’m terrible.)
