Wargaming Bloggers Showcase #44

Wow! It’s been over 3 months since I’ve done one of these. I have no good excuse either. So, let’s dive in.

Now, these first two are from back in January, when I started collecting for this. I’m sure those bloggers won’t mind traffic on some slightly older content :) The last one is recent, and what reminded me I’ve neglected doing a wargaming bloggers showcase.

De Silentio Umbrae: XXX – Showcase: Nurglings

Stats does some great work in the name of Nurgle, so it’s not surprising that his Nurglings look great. The thing that really caught my eye with these is the mucus he added. It’s so real, so disgusting, and it’s perfect for it. Stats utilizes those type of techniques quite a bit, so check out his other stuff too.

Rusted VehiclesTorva Tenebris: Brushing up on a rusty technique

Convincing weathering isn’t easy, and I really like how this rull on rusted out technique by Torva looks. I love seeing how others approach a technique.

Skaven TeamRazza Mini Painting: The Dirty Dazzlers Skaven Team

I’m on a huge Blood Bowl kick lately, so I’ve been eyeing a lot of great looking teams. These Skaven by Razza are great. Classic models, based in the classic manner, and painted up very well. It’s an awesome looking team that I’d love to play against.

  • First time ever I see a mention in a blog about one of my work, and it is on Creative Twilight! Thanks a lot Thor!

    • Gladly. You’ve got some great work, and hopefully you get a few new followers.

  • Turkadactyl

Good to see you rolling out a blog showcase again. Always enjoy these posts. Come to think about it, I haven’t done one of these posts for a while…

    • Thanks.

These are easy to lose track of I find, blog article collections. They take a bit of work, so if I get busy it’s often the first thing I forget about.

  • Nice finds Thor, I completely missed the first two, going to add them to the reading list!

    • We never have enough to read, eh?

      • haha very true :-) But it is great to add those doing a great job of hobby and blogging
